Due to the boil water advisory affecting the downtown Detroit area, classes are cancelled for students on Tuesday, Jan. 15th. We have sent an auto call notifying parents and guardians and will keep you updated as more information develops.
Parent surveys have been distributed to all students. Parents, if you did not receive a survey from your student(s), we have conveniently posted it to the website. Please send your completed survey back to school with your student(s) by Friday, December 21, 2018. We really appreciate it!
Parents, please be reminded that students will receive progress reports today. There is also an early dismissal; all students will be dismissed at 11:30 am. Parent-Teacher Conferences will begin promptly at 1 pm and will end at 4 pm.

The homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 7pm-11pm. The event will be hosted at the IBEW Local 58 Hall at 1358 Abbott St., Detroit, MI 48226. Tickets cost only $4.00!! Come on out and have fun with THE EAGLES!
Calling ALL EAGLES, calling ALL EAGLES!!! Today is game day!! The EAGLES will play Mt. Clemens High School @ the DEPSA football field located at 1903 Wilkins in the Detroit Eastern Market district. The game starts @ 4pm....come out and support our team....GO EAGLESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Progress reports will be distributed to students on Monday, 10/15/2018. The Parent-Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled for Friday, 10/19/2018 from 2pm-5pm. Students do not have school on 10/19/2018 due to Professional Development (see 2018-19 calendar for all dates). Please visit us on conference day to discuss your student(s)' progress!

Parents, please be advised that the Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Opt-Out Form was distributed to students today to take home. The EMU Board of Regents and DPSA is asking parents to complete and return this form if you choose to OPT OUT in regards to having your student's directory information disclosed to other entities.
Please read the packet in it's entirety for the definition and examples of "directory information" as it pertains to students and their educational records. For your convenience, you can also download the form below.
